Here's some of the latest work i decided to work with more over your classic diner style mug lately, and trying to work with the surface of the clay for decoration. I'm pretty pleased with the tea cups the feet are improving. Last night i worked on a couple bowls and a platter, here is a picture of the bowls before i dropped one in the slip bucket. Anyways i'm going to fire these next weekend along other stuff, so more updates soon

Cabin Fever

The cold is getting a little old at this point, i haven't been able to work in the basement at all for the past week because, its forty degrees down there. I have been keeping my self busy with books and podcasts. I cant wait to get back in the studio i have a tons of new glazes and flashing slip recipes to try out. Plus a notebook full of sketches of new forms, i've found myself referring to Clary Illian's book A Potters Workbook almost daily, in my opinion it has been one of the most inspirational books i have read. I've also been looking at alot of other potters pots here are a few of my favorites.
